Walk in a team for St. Basils

As you will all have guessed by now, the St Basil walk has been cancelled.

Here is their message:

Unfortunately the St Basils Walk 2020 (HIKE FOR HOMELESS) is postponed until next year and the dates and times have now been changed to reflect this. We have taken this decision due to the increasing concerns about the spread of Coronavirus and whilst this is one of our biggest fundraising events your safety comes first.

 

The good news is you can already sign up for next years event securing your places at this years prices. It will now take place on Saturday 12th June 2021, same place, times and everything. Thanks for your understanding and continued support for this event.

We will re-launch the event for next year, God willing and if you would like to carry your registration over to next year, please let us know. Otherwise Mel can arrange a refund if you have already paid.

St Basils works with young people in Birmingham to enable them to find and keep a home, grow their confidence, develop their skills, increase opportunities and prevent homelessness and we would like to encourage our community to help them in that mission this year. St Basils Walk is a team adventure. The challenge is to navigate from check point to check point around a set circular route with just a map and printed guide.
 
It is an annual event that is held in a different location every year to keep the challenge fresh. The 2020 St Basils Walk will be the 20th Anniversary of this event! It will take place in the beautiful surroundings of the East Malvern Hills starting and finishing from Eastnor Castle.
